Momentum people get gongs!

The King’s Birthday Honours List this year recognised a number of people connected to Momentum Waikato.

Our Deputy Chair became DAME Susan Hassell, “for services to education”, news that led national bulletins.

Our Bequest Patron and founding Chair Ken Williamson was made an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit, “for services to governance and the community”.

And the founders of our Waikato Hauraki Conservation Fund, Dianne and Selwyn June, both received a King's Service Medal “for services to wildlife conservation".

Huge congratulations to all of them – very well deserved!
