McKenzie Centre Fund

Donations to the McKenzie Centre Fund grow a secure income stream that ultimately improves outcomes and enhances the wellbeing of the children with disabilities that they support.

McKenzie Centre in Hamilton enables children who have disabilities and their families to have full and fulfilling lives in communities that value them.

The Centre was established in 1982 with donations from the McKenzie Education Foundation and the Telethon Trust, and over the decades since it has supported thousands of children with disabilities.

Experiences of early childhood have a later impact on wellbeing. Child development is influenced by individual, family and community factors, and the early childhood intervention delivered by McKenzie Centre improves the lives of children and their families and achieves better long-term outcomes.

The Centre’s board set up the McKenzie Centre Fund at Momentum to secure a resilient ongoing income stream. It uses the income from its Fund to achieve its long-term strategy and growth, including developing new ways to enhance wellbeing for their children and families.

McKenzie Centre is part of Enrich Group, headquartered in Te Awamutu, which delivers a range of services to meet the ever-increasing demand for disability support in the community.

All donations of $5 or more are tax deductible. You will receive a donation receipt that can be submitted to the IRD at the end of the tax year for a 33% tax rebate.
